ORKA VOICE · Release notes
Version 0.2.3
Your music, your choice
ORKA VOICE can now lower system volume while the microphone is open, pause active media, or leave playback untouched. Lower volume is the default: it eases down gently, then returns to the exact level you started with as soon as recording ends.
Volume restoration is deliberately conservative. ORKA never writes outside the system’s valid volume range, does not jump to full volume, and leaves a level alone if you change it yourself during dictation. Pause mode also avoids stopping media you deliberately restart while speaking.
A more coherent interface
Selectors for background audio, triggers, microphones, languages and engines now share ORKA’s recessed control style while retaining native keyboard and VoiceOver behaviour.
Light, Dark and System themes now apply to the whole app—not only the settings window. The menu-bar dropdown and the floating recording pill change with the selected theme too, and System continues following macOS automatically.
