ORKA VOICE · Release notes

Version 0.2.2

· Keep failed recordings recoverable, understand what went wrong, and get a gentle reminder when an update is waiting.

Failed takes are no longer a dead end

When capture or transcription fails, ORKA now explains the problem in plain language and keeps a recent-issues list under Support. If a take reached processing, its recording stays on this Mac so a long session is not silently lost. You can copy a compact support report for the team or delete the issue and its recording when you no longer need them.

Support reports include a stable error code, the app build, engine, time and a short reference. They never include your transcript, recording, API key or raw server response.

Calmer updates and clearer stats

An update that is already waiting remains visible in the menu and can now send one standard notification per day. ORKA never forces an install or repeatedly opens the update window, and skipping an update stops its reminders.

Very large week-over-week changes in Stats now use a compact multiplier such as 25.5×, keeping the card readable without hiding the exact accessible value.
