Version 0.1.14

· Dictation stays fast and reliable while headphones play your audio.

  • Dictation now captures from the microphone only, so AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones set as audio output can no longer slow down or break dictation on the MacBook microphone — even with meeting audio playing.
  • Fixed rapid press-and-release dictation while AirPods own the audio route: no more getting stuck on “Connecting…”, no takes that finish seconds after you let go, and your pinned microphone stays selected through route changes.
  • New versions are now impossible to miss: when an update is ready, ORKA VOICE shows a prominent prompt at the top of the menu-bar panel and a badge on Settings → Support, each with a one-click Update. The prompt only appears when there is actually something to install.
  • Fixed the update check so “Check Now” reports “Up to date” when you already have the latest version, instead of showing a check failure.
  • Internal: recording lifecycle and audio recovery were consolidated into one explicit, bounded state machine for more predictable behavior.
